Coach Williams

CARLOS WILLIAMS was born in Cincinnati, Ohio, where he and his family relocated to the greater Houston area at an early age of his life. As a young boy, Carlos excelled in all extracurricular actives ranging from Basketball to Track. He was noticeably a standpoint in football during  PI-WE and middle school. In high school, he led South Houston High with a record season tackle total his senior year, which got him recognized by various colleges in the nation. Carlos finished both his junior and senior season as Second Team All-District. Upon graduated high school, Carlos received a full-time scholarship to the University of McMurry in Abilene, Texas. During his junior year as a starting linebacker, Carlos suffered a season-ending injury that placed him in a month-long coma. Doctors informed Carlos and his family that he wouldn’t walk again due to the injury. Carlos was placed in a rigorous physical therapy regimen that allowed him to recover basic motor skills. After various months of rehab, Carlos was able to walk and run again. Although his football dreams are past him, Carlos has transitioned into a new goal of becoming a training coach. “Coach Los” has always envisioned himself as a coach to teach and mentor young athletes with aspiring dreams of playing for top-tier universities. Today, Coach Los trains numerous athletes city-wide while attending TSU to obtain his bachelor’s degree in Exercise Sport Science
